BERT KETCHUM is a prominent personal injury trial lawyer who has tried numerous cases to jury verdict in the State and Federal courts of West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio from mining accidents to medical malpractice. He was sole trial counsel for clients who received unprecedented jury verdicts in 2010 and 2013. For his legal work, Bert has received multiple recognitions and awards including selection into The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and Super Lawyers®.
Bert is a native of Wayne County, West Virginia and returned to Huntington in 1994 to practice law with his father, Menis E. Ketchum, II. He serves on several legal and community boards including the Governor’s Judicial Vacancy Advisor Commission, the West Virginia Association for Justice Board of Governors and the Faculty Merit Foundation of West Virginia.
LARRY A. BAILEY is the senior partner at Greene Ketchum and a highly experienced trial lawyer. Licensed in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio, Pete handles a full range of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, product liability and wrongful death.
Pete graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Law and was admitted to the bar in West Virginia in 1976.
CLAYTON J. MADDOX joined Greene Ketchum as a partner in January 2021. Prior to becoming a partner, Clay gained considerable trial experience as an associate, having tried multiple personal injury cases. Clay received his Bachelor’s degree from Marshall University where he graduated with honors and was a member of Marshall University’s Men’s Varsity Baseball Team. Clay is from Wayne County, West Virginia where he resides with his family and remains active in the community.
